Can Our “Dry Bones” Live after Sin Has Separated Us from God?

This is a call for action and away from spiritual apathy as we live in this world that by all indications is getting more morally bankrupt than ever before.

Eva recalls her travels to the Garden of Gethsemane and parallels the story in Ezekiel as a call for us to do it again.

“With Ezekiel standing smack-dab in the middle of death and destruction, God asks a pivotal question: Son of man, can these bones live (37:3a)?”

I heard the Lord say “Daughters of God, receive my fire! RUN! RUN!”

Ooohwee, Lana has a new prophecy.

The imagery in this one is spectacular and exciting.

“This week I saw a waterfall of fire falling upon daughters of God as they sat at the feet of Jesus and what struck me was the DESPERATION that these daughters were living in. There was such a deep desperation for Jesus that was increasing and increasing in their hearts. There was a groan for Jesus that was being birthed that no words could describe. I heard the Lord say “THEY ARE DRIVEN BY DESPERATION AND DEVOTION””

Include Children in Worship: A Simple Plan

This article from The Gospel Coalition gives helpful tips for integrating our children into worship with us.

“But all people are incurably religious. Children are learning to worship at church with God’s people, or somewhere else in some other way. So, including them in worship is a godly discipleship goal. How can we do that effectively? Here are a few places to start.”

Pastors, I Think You Should Use ‘I Think’ Less Often

Of course this article grabbed my attention…I am inclined to agree.

“The other day while going for a jog, I listened to a sermon on the seventh commandment, which addresses adultery. In the 40-minute sermon, the preacher used the phrase I think over 40 times and the phrase we think another half dozen.”

Taking the Lord’s Name in Vain Without Swearing

I have felt a conviction to explore the persistence of blasphemy even amongst believers today so I am grateful for this article.

“I loved Jesus and didn’t want to say anything that might offend him, but I couldn’t help but wonder how the King of the cosmos was so limited as to only hear the words one could find in the concordance to the King James Bible.”

How Should The Church Raise Money? Two Difficulties

How should the church legitimately raise money? Where should its money come from? And are there wrong ways to go about it? In a short series of posts developed from my book, God’s Design For The Church, I hope to answer these questions along with a few others.

We can all agree with Conrad Mwebe here that this is always a sensitive topic.

It can only be good to address it.
