Today, let us rejoice in the Lord.
‘Rejoice’ is such a beautiful word.
I can hardly think of it without smiling.
The root word of course is ‘joy’ so the feeling it releases makes perfect sense.
The other thing I notice is that REJOICE doesn’t seem to appear in many other spaces outside of faith.
Pretty interesting right?
As believers, we do not get to claim autonomy over the word. Of course not…
But, we surely are the ones who boldly rejoice in the Lord.
Here at Stating Faith, we love to do word searches in our favorite bible app.
Today’s word search yielded more results than we could count.

None of them are taken from the book of Psalm intentionally. Those will follow in another post.
Note too that since this post puts us in a very festive mood, we are going to drop several praise songs throughout. All of these will encourage us to rejoice in the Lord.
